Releasing Trauma with the Yang Qiao Du Mai

The Extraordinary Vessel Du Mai has its source in the Ming Men or Gate of Vitality. It controls Yang Qi and its fire ignites movement and activity. Injury to the back, spine or head can create deep trauma that prevents an ability of expression and interaction with the world. Releasing physical and emotional trauma frees the mobility of outward expression.

Deepen your clinical skills by differentiating hara assessment for the Yang Qiao Du Mai and evaluating how a client with an imbalance might present.

Designed for Acupuncturists and Asian Bodywork Therapies, learn how to harmonize the emotions using an Acupressure treatment to connect and balance the Yang Qiao Du Mai.

You will practice basic Acupressure techniques and learn how to open the vessels and access the Qi. Specific Acupoint combinations will be practiced to tap into the resonance of this Extraordinary Vessel pair.
