Tracing its roots back to 17th century Osaka in Japan, Shonishin literally translates as sho "little", ni "children,” and shin "needle."
In this class, participants will learn the history of Shonishin, basic diagnosis (including unique pathogenic and psychological conditions), treatment protocols and techniques for infants and children. Sensei will address the use of tools and how to apply them with pressing, rubbing and stroking the skin without insertion.
