Touching Qi, from Surface to Source
Accessing Qi Layers through Multiple Points of Contact

Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 9:00-6:00 p.m. 8 NCCAOM PDAs pending

Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual layers of Body, Mind and Spirit, Jing, Qi and Shen, dance and interweave in myriad ways in each individual life. As practitioners of Acupuncture, Asian Bodywork Therapy, and Clinical Qigong we drop into a space of a living, authentic connection to the lives of our clients. Qi energy is ubiquitous in its many manifestations as layers of the body, mind and soul. As their story unfolds under our hands, we hold space for deep healing energies to arise within them. From the Tendino-Muscles, to the Primary Meridians, to the Extraordinary Vessels, Qi supports the expression of all aspects of life experience. Developing the sensitivity to meet, greet and work with these many channels gives the practitioner the ability to support dynamic change and healing in their clients’ lives.

In this class, practitioners will learn HeartMind Meridian Qigong and Shiatsu techniques and practices designed to awaken and cultivate deep consciousness, qi sensitivity, and innate therapeutic skills to affect all layers of Being.

Deepen your clinical skills by developing sensitivity for the layers of Qi from surface to source. Be able to differentiate between the layers to serve your clients needs in the most direct and sensitive way from a direct sensitive reading and relationship with the Qi energy of their presenting story. Learn the HeartMind Shiatsu and Qigong approach for releasing blockages in any aspect of the body, mind or spirit connection.

Designed for Acupuncturists, Asian Bodywork Therapists, and Clinical Qigong Therapists interested in developing qi sensitivity and leveraging the power of their Diantien (Hara) in their clinical practice.

Note to attendees: Matthew teaches a form of Shiatsu that is practiced on the floor. We will be using Yoga blankets to practice on. If you prefer, please feel free to bring your Zen Shiatsu mat to class. Tables will be available for those not comfortable working on the floor.
